Warrior’s Lair (originally announced as RUIN) was a dark fantasy social action RPG featuring brutal combat and friendly rivalries between players.
As the game’s lead game designer, I crafted the game’s creative vision and guided the efforts of a seventy-person team.
Conceived of the game’s world, character classes, and environments.
Designed an innovative character progression system centered around the player’s personal lair and the relics of power installed there.
Architected social-style gameplay to appeal to a console audience.
Built a team of twenty game designers, managed their priorities, and reviewed their work.
Designed the UI and UX for a game with both console and touchscreen inputs.
